Hi, I'm Laura. I trained at the College Integrated Chinese Medicine, graduating in 2002. I'd like more and more people to experience the benefits of acupuncture which fits and compliments todays lifestyle so well.
Many diverse complaints can be treated with acupuncture.
I regularly treat conditions such as arthritis, chronic back pain, sciatica, menopausal symptoms, headaches, digestive problems/IBS, gynaecological complaints, emotional problems, hayfever, asthma , musculoskeletal, fertility, stress, lethargy, chronic fatigue, eye problems, pain, psycho emotional problems, sleep, neuralgia.
The youngest patient I've treated was 1 and the eldest 103.

I've been a British Acupuncture Council Member since 2002 and regularly undertake professional training to keep up to date.
I am particularly interested in Master Tung advanced and bleeding style of Acupuncture. I have done many varied courses since 2002 including a 1 year Specialist Fertility and Gynaecology course.

I frequently get asked "What is Acupuncture and how does it work?".
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is the act of inserting fine needles through the skin at very specific points to aid in the traversal of Qi (our bodys life force) throughout the body. Many times the reason that we get unwell or suffer from an ailment is because our Qi is unable to flow freely and can be blocked or slowed for various reasons. I can treat a very wide variety of conditions from Arthritus and chronic back pain to stress and fertility issues. There are no age requirments or restrictions to my treatments, the oldest person ive ever treated was 103 years old and the youngest was only 1!
